Manager, Sourcing Portfolio

Overview
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative professional to lead sourcing initiatives across a dynamic portfolio of projects and categories. In this role, you will help shape sourcing strategies that support business objectives, improve supplier performance, and deliver measurable value through strong commercial partnerships and disciplined execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, budget targets, and operational priorities.
- Manage a portfolio of sourcing activities from opportunity assessment through supplier selection, negotiation, and contract support.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, timelines, risk considerations, and desired outcomes.
- Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
- Analyze spend, market trends, supplier performance, and cost drivers to identify savings and value-creation opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring accountability for quality, service, cost, and compliance.
- Support contract execution by coordinating with legal, finance, operations, and other cross-functional teams as needed.
- Track sourcing pipeline status, key deliverables, savings performance, and risks across assigned categories or projects.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance sourcing efficiency, governance, and stakeholder experience.
- Prepare clear presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership and business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Several years of experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or supplier management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with sourcing methodologies, supplier assessments, and contract support.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business analysis or procurement tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience leading or supporting portfolio-based sourcing programs.
- Knowledge of cost modeling, market analysis, and supplier performance management.
- Familiarity with procurement systems, e-sourcing platforms, or spend analytics tools.
