Job Title: Business Process Analyst

Job location: DCPP IN AVILA BEACH, CA AREA (Onsite)

This is an onsite Role, only for local candidates who reside in or around Avila Beach, CA and can go to the office. 

Description:

LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING AND LOCAL TO DCPP IN AVILA BEACH, CA AREA WITHIN CLIENT'S SERVICE TERRITORY. WITH MANAGER PRIOR APPROVAL CAN SUBMIT MONTHLY EXPENSE FOR PERSONAL CELL PHONE USE FOR A PRE-DETERMINED AMOUNT.

The position will be on-site at DCPP and require an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS -10 hours per day, 4 days per week). An AWS Acknowledgement Form needs to be signed.

TOP THINGS LOOKING FOR:

  1. Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio, Power BI and/ or Tableau.
  2. Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Position Summary:

  • Business Analysts participate in the coordination of new processes or procedures along with business architects, communication and training teams to ensure proper training and development before roll out of next steps. 
  • Work with the SM project team to proactively identify possible gaps to processes, training needs and communication vehicles to support roll out. Next steps will involve close collaboration efforts and understanding of SM deployment, field delivery, SM technologies and products. Combine efforts and participation of other team members within Change Management to actively promote and demonstrate the strength of team participation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, project management or other related fields, and or equivalent work experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of CC&B, FAS, MIB, SAP and OIS
  • Demonstrated experience in metrics development and deployment
  • Experience with formalized Organizational Change Management and with change stabilization
  • Experience with Stakeholder Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Experience with deployment flow charts and/or &swim lane; tools for visualizing procedures and roles
  • Expert-level MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
  • Utility industry experience
