Job Title: Travel Manager
Job Description:
The Travel Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of business travel for employees and executives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance with company policies and a smooth travel experience. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, implementing travel policies, and supporting employees with their travel needs. The Travel Manager will be the primary point of contact for travel related issues, providing solutions and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with the company’s travel management company.
- Develop, implement, and maintain company travel policies and procedures.
- Oversee the planning and booking of travel arrangements for employees including flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel related services.

Client’s Clean Energy Transportation (“CET”) organization is running the Multifamily and Small Business EV Charger Program (“MSDI”). The program installs Level 1 and Level 2 EV chargers at multifamily housing units and small businesses with existing panel capacity. CET is hiring a Project Coordinator to help facilitate EV charging equipment testing, hardware and software fixes, and the administration of external program funding sources.
Scope of Work:
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct on-site EV charging equipment testing with property site hosts
- Track the progress and outcomes of EV charging equipment testing and provide progress reports to the the Multifamily Housing and Small Business EV Charger Program (“MSDI”) Program Manager
- Proactively work with the MSDI Program Manager to facilitate hardware and software charger fixes as needed
- Own the administration of compiling and completing external funding applications (like grants)
- Once external funding applications are submitted, monitor their progress and resolve issues as they arise – this includes providing status updates on external funding milestones and deliverables
Timing:
- Through the end of 2025; however, depending on program need and scope changes, this role could extend beyond that
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of project coordinator experience or similar experience
- 2-4 years of experience managing grant applications/funding
- BS/BA Degree, or equivalent work experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with construction projects and reviewing code regulations
- Familiarity with EV charging installations and EV Service Equipment and EV Service Provider vendors
- Experience working with an investor-owned utility
