Position Summary:

The Inventory To Delivery (ITD) Business Process Analyst, Principal will play a pivotal role in Propel program, leading the implementation of key supply chain initiatives as part of our broader business and technology modernization efforts. This role requires a solid understanding of Inventory to Delivery processes and solutions, experience in Advanced Planning software, with extensive experience in materials planning, forecasting, MRP, and S&OP. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic objectives and will be responsible for ensuring alignment with Propel’s goals of standardizing business processes, enhancing data quality, and enabling technological innovation for the future state ITD design.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recognized SAP Material Planning subject matter expert who represents materials team stakeholders in the overall S/4HANA Modernization program.
  • Supports all project phases as representative of the materials and planning process in design workshops, socialization, and confirmation, business requirements for L3/L4 processes.
  • Facilitate cross functional workshops to design cross functional integrated business planning processes.
  • Supports and coaches peers through change management of future state design concepts
  • Designs, configures, tests, and trains end users (material planners), and supports deployment of Advanced Planning tools and S/4HANA
  • Validates/confirms business requirements against documented regulations and procedures.
  • Identify gaps and cross functional design requirements, and solve unique and complex problems by anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions.
  • Works with senior management to support strategic planning and decision making in relation to organizational and cross functional business processes.
  • May manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 8 years of related or equivalent experience.
  • Experience implementing or working with SAP materials planning and Advanced Planning applications.

Department Overview:

The People Project and Solutions Delivery team provides direction and defines decision-making procedures and metrics for validating impacts to projects.  We serve as Lean ambassadors for the People organization.  We work towards becoming a Center for Enablement for Project Guidance and Continuous Improvement, providing best practices documentation for People initiatives.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to support the development of high-quality knowledge articles that will fuel AI-driven automation and digital transformation initiatives. This role bridges People operations and technology, ensuring that knowledge assets are structured, accurate, and optimized for machine learning and AI applications.

 This position is classified as a hybrid work type.  The successful candidate should generally plan to work from the Oakland General Office 0-3 days per week, on average.

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge Article Development

  1. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across departments to gather, analyze, and document business processes and workflows.
  2. Translate complex operational procedures into clear, structured knowledge articles suitable for AI consumption.
  3. Ensure articles follow metadata, tagging, and formatting standards for AI training and automation platforms.

• AI & Automation Enablement

  1. Partner with AI developers and automation teams to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for process automation.
  2. Validate and test knowledge articles in AI environments to ensure accuracy and usability.
  3. Continuously refine content based on AI performance feedback and user interactions.

• Stakeholder Collaboration

  1. Facilitate workshops and interviews with business units to capture tribal knowledge and undocumented processes.
  2. Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment on knowledge strategy.

• Governance & Quality Assurance

  1. Maintain version control and audit trails for all knowledge assets.
  2. Implement quality assurance checks to ensure consistency, relevance, and compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, technical writing, or knowledge management.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, automation platforms (e.g., RPA), and knowledge bases.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with tools like MS Copilot, SharePoint, ServiceNow Knowledge Management, or similar platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
  • Ability to visualize workflows and processes using tools like Visio
