Job Title: Outage Specialist

Location: Oakland/San Ramon, CA

The identified candidate would need to have prior knowledge required to step into this role and immediately begin providing value to outage planning efforts and will need to provide critical knowledge transfer to new teammates who will be serving in this capacity for the long-term

• Expert position supports the Power Plant Outage Management department, which is responsible for the planning and scheduling for refueling outages as well as monitoring pre-outage preparation milestones. 
• This person will supervise a team of containment coordinators and be one of the point people representing refueling and containment program activities in the Outage Coordination Center during the refueling outage.

Job Duties:

• Oversees the Outage space allocation and Outage load-in process.
• Oversees Refueling activities and Outage Containment Program management
• Evaluates, coaches, and mentors station employees and leadership on performance and job expectations related to containment and refueling activities
• Serves in supervisory capacity leading a team of containment coordinators during refueling outage
• Mentor new outage management teammates who will be taking over these activities for the next refueling outage
